HVAC planning in Fortville

A railroad depot town from 1849 with a genuinely mixed duct-system history.

A Railroad Depot Town With a Modern Comfort Layer on Top

Fortville's identity was built on a 19th-century bet: Cephas Fort platted the town in 1849 anticipating a rail line, and the Bee Line Railroad arrived in 1852, naming its depot after him. The town incorporated in 1865 with 240 people. That small rail-depot core has since been surrounded by newer residential growth, splitting the HVAC picture in two.

Core Versus Growth Ring

Older core homes in Fortville often need ductwork solved around additions layered on over decades, while newer construction on the town's growth rings runs standard modern systems from installation.
